# Announcing Cofounder 2: Run an entire company with agents

Cofounder 2 is the infrastructure for the one person billion dollar company - orchestrating agents across engineering, sales, marketing, ops, and design.

It is the operating system for your whole business - handling everything from shipping features and discovering leads to writing and distributing content. With Cofounder, you can build a company as a solo founder.

We built it around three main beliefs.

1. **Starting a company should be easier.** You should be able to go from idea to a functioning company in a single day, without getting stuck in the infrastructure, tooling, and setup decisions that have nothing to do with your actual business.
2. **Starting a company should be fun.** We want running a company to feel like playing a video game, not grinding through operational overhead.
3. **Starting a company should make your life better.** When your agents are handling the work of a full team, you get to spend your time on what actually matters to you outside of work.

About a year ago, I wrote about the concept of [superoptimizers](https://www.generalintelligencecompany.com/writing/superoptimization-organizational-management-by-agents) — agents that manage other agents. I wrote that piece because I had begun to notice a trend: vertical agents were flooding the market.

From code gen, to infrastructure, to sales sequencing, there is now a mature well-built vertical agent in every category. If you’re setting up an agent native company, you will want to use these instead of hiring people!

But there’s a problem. There’s too many of them. They don’t work together. You need a different agent who can coordinate work between all of these various other siloes of agents.
