Is Cofounder a competitor to Claude Code?

No. Cofounder OS is an MCP that bundles business services for Claude Code. You keep working with Claude Code as your agent; Cofounder supplies the tools, company context, and managed infrastructure it can use.
What does MCP mean here?

MCP is the connection that lets Claude Code use Cofounder’s tools. Once connected and authenticated, Claude Code can work with your company’s resources as part of the tasks you give it.
Does Cofounder replace Claude Code or my Anthropic plan?

No. You keep using Claude Code with your existing Anthropic plan or API billing arrangement. Cofounder adds company tools and services to that workflow through MCP.
Can I use my existing code and tools?

Yes. Claude Code can work with your existing codebase and other connected services. Cofounder adds company resources, including tools for imported or managed repositories, hosting, and databases.
How much does Cofounder add to my Claude Code costs?

Cofounder is $40/month per company, including $40 in usage credits. Unused credits roll over each month. You can purchase additional credits with an active subscription. Your Anthropic plan and model usage are separate.
Will I need more than $40/month in credits?
