Is Cofounder a competitor to Codex?

No. Cofounder OS is an MCP that bundles business services for Codex. You keep working with Codex as your agent; Cofounder supplies the tools, company context, and managed infrastructure it can use.
What does MCP mean here?

MCP is the connection that lets Codex use Cofounder’s tools. Once connected and authenticated, Codex can work with your company’s resources as part of the tasks you give it.
Does Cofounder replace the Codex app or subscription?

No. You keep using Codex and your existing OpenAI billing arrangement. Cofounder is a separate connection that adds company tools and services to that workflow.
