An Update on Cofounder 1.
Published on 04/29/2026

Cofounder 1 was the first step toward a larger product vision: helping anyone with insight and ambition start a real company. It proved there was demand for a system that could help founders move faster, but it also showed where the product needed to become more ambitious.
To focus the team on Cofounder 2, the original product is moving into a planned sunset. Signups are being disabled, legacy access is being preserved for exports, and existing users are being given priority as the new platform opens.
The next version of Cofounder is not a small iteration. It is a rearchitecture around the bigger goal: making company-building dramatically easier.
What changes for Cofounder 1 users
- New Cofounder 1 signups are being turned off
- Legacy access is being preserved so users can export their data
- Cofounder 2 launches as the team’s primary product focus
- Existing users receive priority access and recognition in the new product
