Announcing Cofounder 1.5 and our $8.7 Million Seed Round.
Published on 12/08/2025

The General Intelligence Company raised $8.7 million in seed funding to pursue a larger goal: building infrastructure for the one-person billion-dollar company. The round gives the team more room to turn Cofounder from an assistant into a full-stack agent company platform.
The thesis is that millions of companies will be started by entrepreneurs enabled by AI. Existing tools still behave like point solutions across narrow job functions, but the company believes founders need a coordinated system that can run entire departments.
Cofounder is moving from assistant to operating layer: product, engineering, sales, support, and operations coordinated by agents.
What the round supports
- Building agent infrastructure for real company operations
- Expanding Cofounder across product, engineering, go-to-market, support, and ops
- Demonstrating a software company run almost entirely by agents
- Making sophisticated company-building accessible to more founders
